Drama, arsty/indie/festival movies, and comedy.

Horror.

Would you automatically go see a movie simply because a certain actor or director is involved in it? If so, who?

Tom Hanks, Leo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Eddie Redmayne and Bradley Pitt seem to have a golden touch. Love Carey Mulligan, Kate Winslet, Amy Adams, Rachel McAdams and J-Law. For directors, if the Coen brothers or Quentin Tarantino direct it, I'm there.
