What we're about
Founded in 1975, the Columbus Roadrunners Club (CRRC) is the oldest running club in central Ohio!
CRRC is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting and encouraging running at all levels.
We sponsor informal weekly group runs, social events and organized races throughout the year, including our biggest event - The Winter Run - . This is a GREAT race! Each February we host this race which is actually three different races - a 3 mile, a 7.5 mile and a 15 mile. You choose your distance! Prizes are awarded in each race and all net proceeds go to charity (for 2014 and 2015, Sarcoma Cancer research)
We also run EVERY Saturday morning (year round!) through the trails and hills at Highbanks Metro Park on North High Street. Come join us early Saturday morning and meet your fellow Columbus runners!
If you can't make it then, join us on most Wednesday nights in the Clintonville/Whetstone park area for our mid-week run!
CRRC club members also volunteer in a variety of events, which include the Columbus Marathon and other community running events. The CRRC hosts an annual banquet and year round fun activities and is also a member of the Roadrunners Club of America.
