You're invited to a screening of The Invisible Vegan on Sunday Sept 29th at Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse hosted by Columbus Veg Community (CVC).
The Invisible Vegan is a 90-minute independent documentary that explores the problem of unhealthy dietary patterns in the African-American community, foregrounding the health and wellness possibilities enabled by plant-based vegan diets and lifestyle choices. The documentary begins with the personal story of Jasmine Leyva, a 30-year-old black actress and filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. Over the past seven years, Leyva has committed herself to veganism, both in lifestyle and research.
At the screening there is FREE admission, FREE food (including mouthwatering samples from local vegan gems Can't Believe It's Vegan, Berry Vegan Delights and The Bella Goat Bakert), FREE unlimited popcorn, and a FREE raffle where you get a raffle ticket just for attending that you can use to win gift certificates, dessert samplers, and more!
Please plan to arrive at 2pm to get free food, get a raffle ticket, and find a seat. The film will start promptly at 2:15pm.
