I started out on the grill and loved outdoor cooking so much that I stepped it up to smoking meat. I can't get enough of that wonderful smell that wafts from the black barrel. I just wish I had more time to do it!
I used to exclusively buy Stubb's but have concocted my own sauce that is frankly, is the best I've tasted. I really won't use anything else but my own sauce on smoked meat; if I spent the time on the meat, I want only the best to compliment the meal!
Thick and spicy!!! Unfortunately for others, I'm a bit of a Chili Head and enjoy my homemade sauces more spicy than most. I need to get in the habit of making two sauces: 1 spicy and 1 regular.
I am a "close-to-40" year old PE teacher who loves to spend his summer by the smoker! I am still trying to perfect the art of true bbq and enjoy chowing down each attempt at making the perfect master piece!
