2020 Club T-shirts ...... if you've paid your 2020 dues and missed the drive by event to pick up your shirt, they are now at my house. Text me at 713-299-0683 and I will put your shirt on bench outside front door. We will also have the shirts available at our next club meeting. (hopefully in September)
Attention CRRC members who have time to connect and say hello to other members. I am again hosting a Zoom video conference and you don't have to be a computer expert. Join and let's learn how it works. This is not an official function of CRRC, but only a chance to play, laugh or sing. (Okay let's not get carried away!) This starts at 8:30 PM on Monday, July 20 and lasts only until 9 PM. It works best on a laptop computer, but also works on a tablet such as an iPad. You must, in advance, go to www.zoom.com and download an app or a file to your device.
A Big Thank You to all my Family & Friends for the Happy Birthday Wishes. I had a great day!
How Coronavirus Spreads from CDC Part 2People are thought to be most contagious when they are most symptomatic (the sickest). Some spread might be possible before people show symptoms; there have been reports of this occurring with this new coronavirus, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.Spread from contact with contaminated surfaces or objectsIt may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.
How Coronavirus Spreads from CDC Part 1The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person.Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
