7 World's End Place, Kings Road, SW10 0DR, London
These sessions are suitable for those aged at least 50 who are complete beginners, returning to dancing, and beyond the beginner stage.
The styles covered include ballroom, Latin, and classical sequence routines.
You can bring a partner or come on your own - you'll have the opportunity to dance with everybody.
You can dress up or down but wear shoes that are comfortable, attached to your foot at the heel, and are non-stick (trainers are not suitable, therefore).
We run every Monday from 3pm until 4pm.
Meet at reception by the cafe. The cost is £1.25, pay-as-you-go. It's inexpensive and huge value for money.
This is an ongoing activity, so this session is a good one at which to start. The sooner you come, the sooner you'll start enjoying yourself!
Also joining us are members of another meetup group: http://tiny.cc/goballroom-meetup
Underground then bus
It’s a 20-minute bus ride from Sloane Square Underground Station (District and Circle Lines) or a 14-minute bus ride from Earl’s Court (District and Piccadilly Lines).
From Sloane Square Station exit: enter Sloane Square (Hugo Boss on your left), continue walking straight down King’s Road away from the centre of London (passing Peter Jones on your right). Catch buses 11 or 22 at the stop just past the Saatchi Gallery in Duke Of York’s Square.
From Earl’s Court Station exit: catch bus C3 bus from stop A towards Clapham Junction or the 328 from stop A towards Chelsea, World’s End.
It’s a 15-minute walk from Imperial Wharf Overground Station.
Chelsea Theatre is on bus routes 11, 22, 238, and C3.
We recommend that you do not travel by car because to park in the street incurs a cost and space is difficult to find.
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
