Mindfulness has its roots in Eastern practices, including Buddhism and Qigong, and it has been studied for the past 30 years at major universities in the US, such as Harvard and UCLA, for stress, pain reduction and other health benefits.

We have the great pleasure of presenting a special evening with Sabrina Shane, Mindfulness Coach and Psychotherapist in private practice in Oakland. Sabrina uses Mindfulness-based recovery, Mindful eating and Mindful relationships, among other life skills in her practice. She will be joining our group for our July meeting to share effective practices in Mindfulness that you can use to enhance your well-being.
