"On Friday July 12th, 2019, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.
There will be several speakers beginning around 8pm. At 9pm, we will light candles and share a moment of silence. Together we will light up the world (and social media) to demand an end to human detention camps.
Please bring a candle (or several to share) for the event.
Florence Community Plaza is located at the intersection of Mall Rd and Connector Dr. Location is tentative, we are still waiting for final approval from the city of Florence."
