Do you consider yourself a Humanist?

Yes. Very much so.

How did you find out about our group?

I am a co-founder of Concord Area Humanists (CAH), which began life in January, 2009. We welcome all those who would like to learn more, and enjoy open discussion on all aspects of Humanism.

Come and meet local Humanists. Sign up for direct CAH Announcements at [masked], and join 400 receiving direct emails. No need to RSVP. So, MeetUp RSVPS are much lower than attendance. Looking forward to seeing you!

What Pat E. is saying about this Meetup Group

Concord Area Humanists (CAH) is an inclusive and positive group, where Humanists, and not-yet Humanists, can mingle, and enjoy good rational interchange. The requirement is a certain amount of skepticism and willingness to engage in open discussion. This season we are typically holding two events each month. One is usually on the First Wednesday, in the First Parish in Concord Parish Hall, with a featured speaker, followed by discussion. The second is on another evening, normally in the Concord Center Public Library, with informal open discussion and varying format. Please contact if you would like to be on our Email Announcement List. You are also invited to find the latest programming for all the meetings on, and register your RSVP. The RSVP is not essential but will help in preparing the arrangements. Our web site: has more information about us, and many blog articles.
