What we're about
Are you afraid of speaking to more than two people at a time? Or, perhaps afraid of putting your audience to sleep when you speak?
Would you like to learn to overcome nervousness, speak with conviction, improve your presentation skills, give effective feedback, shine at interviews and at the same time, make new friends and have a lot of fun!!
Then join us!
Confident Voices Vilnius was created for young professionals and business people who are looking to improve their public speaking and communication skills in English. We are the sister-club of First Toastmasters of Lithuania (http://toastmasters.lt/), which is part of Toastmasters International (https://www.toastmasters.org/) club network.
It's good place to meet new people, do networking and have good time.
We meet every second Thursday from 7 p.m. at Europa City Vilnius Hotel (https://goo.gl/maps/mfSjSkMbsk22) (J. Jasinskio g. 14, Vilnius)
ABOUT TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL
Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations.
Headquartered in California, the organization has more than 313,000 members in 14,650 clubs in 126 countries.
Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people of all backgrounds become more confident in front of an audience.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our meetings are a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
There are no instructor in our meetings. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.
Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.
HOW I CAN JOIN?
Attend for free one or several of our regular meetings as a guest to learn more about the club. If you like it, apply for membership and fully enjoy its benefits (http://www.scotthyoung.com/blog/2006/11/05/why-you-should-join-toastmasters/).
