We have a name for ourselves: “The Little Shul With A Big Heart” and we mean it. A deep sense of community is at the spiritual center of our synagogue, a sense of searching together for truth and a commitment to tikkun alom, working as a unified group to “repair the world”. Congregation Beth Ahm is a place where new ideas blend with old traditions, creating a harmony of contemporary Jewish observance and celebration. Beth Ahm differs from many other synagogues in its small size, lack of pretension and an overall feeling of warmth and commitment. These factors, combined with our dedicated and dynamic Rabbi, and our superbly talented Cantor make Congregation Beth Ahm a unique and special place. We also have a wonderful Children's Jewish Learning Center where a low student-teacher ratio means that each child gets the attention he or she deserves. By the time of their Bar/Mat Mitzvah, a student has been grounded in Jewish traditions and can feel comfortable in any synagogue in the world.
