What we're about

There is scientific evidence that practising mindfulness in a group has a greater impact on the brain than the same amount of time spend practising alone. This isn't to say that your personal practise isn't important, but being part of a group can really help too. Attending a regular practice group can help to support you; give you like-minded people who don't ask "What's mindfulness?" and it can be a real help when your practice has gone awry. Non-judgemental, supportive and fun - we can promise tea, biscuits and some 'time out' for yourself. Everything else is a bonus! Come and join us for a mixture of mindfulness discussion and shared practice. This is not a 'taught' meditation class, but we will be gently what mindfulness means to us and how we all implement it (with varying degrees of success) in our everyday lives. We will discuss our own experiences of our practice and share that all important meditation practice together.

This group is for people who have some element of mindfulness practice already - perhaps you have attended a course, or perhaps you have dabbled but would like something to help you to make this part of everyday life. Whatever your experience or your story, we welcome you to this relaxed, non-judgemental and friendly group.

A £3.50 voluntary donation will go towards the cost of the venue, tea and coffee.
