  • [Online] Heartful Networking Event

    Online event

    $18.00

***Please RSVP here, then pay via Eventbrite to register: https://heartfulnetworking.eventbrite.com *** Networking can be dreadful, right? What if were down to earth... and it also provided a way to create more community, as well as attract clients and referral partners? Heartful Networking, taking place on Zoom, is here to help you meet other professionals of like mind, and step into connection... even if you're physically far apart. WHO IT'S FOR: Conscious and self-aware professionals, coaches, holistic practitioners, and others who want to make a difference. Because of obvious current circumstances, it's best if you are able to offer your services online or remotely. PRICE: This networking workshop is offered sliding scale, $5-30, based on your resources. Choose the right number for you at https://heartfulnetworking.eventbrite.com. HOW IT WORKS: 1) Log onto Zoom between 3:50-4pm so we can start on time. Come with water or a cup of tea, and paper or a Word document to take notes with. 2) 4-4:30: Connection warmup. We start off with a guided, fun practice to get centered and connected. (Introverts especially like the full permission to be themselves!) 3) 4:30-5: Guided networking. Get split into different pairings and groups to meet others, with questions that take you out of what you "should" say and into your heart. 4) 5-5:30: Free-form networking. Now that you have the swing of it, you'll get placed into groups without prompts, to let connection arise organically. About your facilitator: Jonathan Bender, MS, MFA, the creator of Connection Jams, began leading networking events 10 years ago after noticing that they were, well, pretty awful. He applies his techniques around public speaking, presence and connection to help you show up as yourself, and connect authentically. The founder of WholeSpeak, LLC, he has taught thousands how to show up with authenticity, power, and dynamic presence, and has a mission to help our world heal the wounds of disconnection. Jonathan is also a professional theatre director, actor and writer, and holds an MFA in Theater: Contemporary Performance and a Master's in Performance Studies and Speech Communication. Redwood Regional Park Skyline Entrance

JOIN US FOR NETWORKING IN NATURE! ***Please purchase a ticket here to attend: *** http://juliewolkcoaching.com/services/networking-in-nature/ A connective hike in the Oakland Hills for nature-loving coaches, consultants, holistic practitioners, and other service-based business owners... Let’s get to know each other and get our butts outside in nature! Do the words “networking event” make you want to cringe? Are you ready to get out from behind your computer and meet some other conscious entrepreneurs? Then join us... The intention of this event is to simply slow down, take in the beautiful Oakland hills, connect with other nature-loving entrepreneurs, and see how we might support each other in our businesses. So if you’re drowning in email, stretched too thin, over-giving, or simply caught on that hamster wheel of obsessive productivity, I hope you’ll come hang out with us. YOU COULD FIND YOUR NEXT: • Referral partner • Collaborator • Mastermind buddy • Client • Or just some down-to-earth friends on the entrepreneurial path Because here’s the thing... when you slow down and get connected with yourself, with nature, and with other humans (away from the screen!), you get replenished, realigned, and reactivated. Yep, slowing down and getting out in nature will actually make you more productive. (Not to mention all the other scientifically proven benefits of getting outside, including mental acuity, emotional resilience and stress relief). HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: • We'll meet at the trailhead, introduce ourselves, and then spend the first 20 minutes on a guided silent stroll on a beautiful trail. • Once we’ve opened up our senses and slowed down to nature’s pace, we’ll continue down a wide, rolling trail and have open time to walk, talk, and connect with one another about our businesses. • We’ll stop regularly for simple facilitated exercises and conversation prompts so that it’s easy and natural to get to know new people and practice your networking skills even if you usually don’t like networking events. So join us to connect to yourself, nature, and others in a naturally supportive, low-pressure environment. DETAILS: • Specific meeting spot details will be given when you register • Please be at the trailhead at 10AM sharp (give yourself a few extra minutes to get there, it may be farther than you think!) • The hike is easy to moderate with a couple uphill spots (it’s not intense and you can take it slow if you like) • Dress in layers, and bring a water bottle, as well as a snack if you’ll need it, and business cards if you like (but don't worry if you don't have cards, there will also be a Google Sheet sent around after!). PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY: • You must register on http://juliewolkcoaching.com/services/networking-in-nature/ so we know you're coming (space is limited and payment is only taken online) • We're so sorry, but tickets are not refundable nor transferable to the next event. You are free to give away or sell your ticket (please just let us know who’s taking it!) • Your fee contributes to, among other things, permits and insurance for these events PS – If you heard about this anywhere other than Meetup, please join our Networking in Nature Meetup Group so you can be sure to hear about future events. https://www.meetup.com/Networking-in-Nature-Bay-Area If you want to make sure to hear about all Networking in Nature events, please join the NiN Meetup Group: https://www.meetup.com/Networking-in-Nature-Bay-Area/ Questions? You'll have exercises to stay present with yourself as you connect with ease. 2) For those who wish to stay, we then transition to guided coworking time. We'll have breaks for movement and connection, with focused "get-stuff-done" time. PROVIDED: Tea, coffee, structured water and snacks will be provided. BRING: If you're staying the whole time and would like to eat a full lunch after we move on to coworking, you're welcome to bring lunch or more snacks with you.
