A nature-centric walk/hike at Conservation Park. The route we take is about five miles long and takes us between 2 and 2.5 hours.
Bring your camera if you want to take photos. The aim is to witness and appreciate the natural wonders of the park including plants, animals etc. I tend to spot more snakes and frogs than anything else out there but I know there is so much more to be seen.
No expertise or knowledge required, just come walk around with us if this sounds interesting to you. If you possess any kind of nature knowledge, we love to learn!
No dogs please since we will be trying to observe wildlife.
These are not guided walks/hikes. We will just take a walk together stopping to observe any wildlife (including plants) that catches anyone's attention. I am just someone that likes Conservation Park and thinks it would be a good place to do regular nature walks. I am not associated with the park in any way. I am sort of copying the idea from a group I was a part of in another state.
