It just sounded interesting and different and hope to meet people who relate with my view of nature.
The topics and discussion sound interesting plus the experience of hiking in a group for a period of time in silence seems interesting.
Over the 14 years I haved lived here, I have done a great deal of hiking alone with my dog, discovering new spots and taking in the beauty and peace. I have done groups hikes many times also but seem to enjoy the solitude of being alone.
I enjoy this. Liked that Nick gave the group the option to talk, etc. I think on future hikes I would change to my vote to talk a bit. would be nice to discuss the hike or the "presence" practice with like minded people. Ive tried to recruit a few friends I know would enjoy this type of thing for future hikes. Thanks Nick for keeping it going. Hope to see you all again. Shari
