What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in finding out more about what it means to be a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and for HSPs to support one another.

This group serves to:

1. Help raise the self esteem of HSPs by providing a safe environment in which to be seen, heard and validated

2. Value the trait of high sensitivity and its contribution to the world

3. Foster the exchange of wisdom based on personal experiences

4. Educate, motivate and inspire HSPs to create authentic lives that work for them so that they embrace their unique gifts and manifest those gifts in the world

5. Develop a supportive community for HSPs locally, and wherever members of the group move or travel to

6. Advocate for HSPs to ensure their right to emotional, psychological, social and economic wellbeing

7. Give HSPs a sense of belonging

With the exception of the words italicized and in bold, this 7 point list is used with permission from Jacquelyn Strickland, LPC, co-founder, with Dr. Elaine Aron, of the HSP Gathering Retreats™ (Since 2001) on her website at lifeworkshelp.com
