August Cooking Class and Gourmet dinner!

  • Aug 9, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

I am back from France with new inspiration! One more time you are invited to prepare a delicious dinner from scratch and savor it around a beautiful table in a festive and friendly atmosphere!

Limited to 16 participants.

Must sign up no later than August 7th

Because of a long waiting list at each past event, and some last minute no-shows without notice, I am now asking you to pay your fees as you sign up and not at the door anymore.

Fees: To be confirmed for the event, you need to pay the $45 fees when you sign up (Pay-Pal). Fees will be refunded if you cancel your participation online no later than August 5. No refund for cancellations after August 5. No Exceptions.

Participants must bring: a bottle of good wine or another drink if you don't drink wine, as well as your apron, your knife and your cutting board.

Menu: will be sent to participants who have signed up and paid their fees around August 6

Et voila! Looking forward to cooking again together,

Martine M., organizer

The aim of this group is to have fun cooking, exploring, and savoring different aspects of French and International cuisine. It would be too complicated to cater to preferences and special needs.

Martine, just a suggestion.........isn't it a good idea to post the menu along with first announcement because some people have strong preferences and dietary restrictions.

Much fun and delicious as usual! People work always so well together and so joyfully that it is a real pleasure for every participant to cook and then to sit down for dinner in good company.

The menu is sent to people who sign up for an event, who will prepare the meal, and who will savor it. It is not a matter of money, but of cooking together a fine dinner and then to enjoy it around an elegant table in good company.

Because I miscalculated when I started and had to pay out of my pocket. Do you really think that $45 is too much for a 3 courses dinner cooking class and a sit-down gourmet and elegant dinner? Many people think that it is a bargain. Believe me, it takes time consuming detailed preparation and shopping to make it work for so many people at once.

$30.00 was reasonable but $45.00 is a little steep.

Actually I'm booking for Scott - he's fishing on Christmas Island right now. I'll be in Hong Kong so I'll miss this event!
