La Finca Del Sur (translates to "farm of the south") is ending the season with a huge "Halloween Hootenanny" farm festival on Sunday, October 23, 2011! Free event!
Join us at one of the biggest urban farms in the city - a three-acre green oasis dedicated to providing healthy, affordable food to low-income families in the Harlem/South Bronx area. I'm also one of the co-founders of the farm...and I would love to see you there. :)
The farm festival will consist of various children's activities:
1)Spooky haunted house
2) pumpkin painting
3) pinata games
5) face painting and much more!
Dance ceremony by Manhattan Tribal, delicious BBQ food and dance party with DJ Mike!
The farm is conveniently located on 138th and Grand Concourse - right across the street from the 138th St - 4/5 train stop!
