• Moroccan Inspired Dinner prepared by Chef Pip Harragin (with Foodnome)

    This is our first foray exploring the chefs who have signed up with the Foodnome.com platform. Events will be reserved-ticket, pay-in-advance meals hosted in homes rather than restaurants (if you want to be a future host and can seat 15, let us know). Her menu sounds delicious for a warm summer evening. We'll be eating on a screened in porch - dress accordingly and BYOB (bring your own booze). Here is the menu as envisioned now, but it could be changed a little depending on what is seasonal and fresh: MOROCCAN-INSPIRED VEGAN SUMMER DINNER FIRST- Harissa spiced watermelon with a fresh mint salad MAIN- Stuffed eggplant with cumin baby carrots (Eggplant stuffed with couscous, golden raisins, pomegranates, pine nuts and warm, earthy spices dressed in chermoula with a lemon tahini sauce.) DESSERT- Spiced strawberry sorbet with Moroccan chocolate cake (Warm, earthy spices such as cumin, cinnamon, and sumac add a twist to the classic sorbet and chocolate cake.) PRICE: $20 per person, limited to 15 people TICKETS: Go to FOODNOME.COM, create an account and purchase the amount of Gnomes (dollars, credits) you need (this dinner is = to 20 Gnomes).
