Your suggestions please - and volunteers to be a social organisers

Hi Everyone

As you may well know by now - I am living in London for a while and can't get to the regular bike rides or pub meetups. I did believe that it would not be necessary to have an allocated "organiser" for you to get together for a beer and a chat or something as simple as a bike ride/walk in the forest - but sadly out of over 900 members there only ever seems to be a couple of you going to these regular events.

So may be these events DO need an "organiser" or at least a regular face for people to look out for.

I would really appreciate your comments on why there are so few people attanding these events - and any suggestions on how to improve the situation.

.... and if anyone out there would like to be the face of the social events - let me know. It is a great way to meet new people.

Hope to see more of you soon.

Chris

PS: Look out for a Sweden climbing and a Norway sea kayaking weekend - to be published soon.
