What we're about

Core Development Toastmasters is a friendly and vibrant downtown morning club. We meet from 7:00 AM–8:00 AM on the first and second Tuesday of each month.

Start your morning off with a fun and exciting round of public speaking first thing. It's a great way to kick start your day!

We are committed to the growth of our members in a supportive atmosphere. Our membership includes retired and current professionals, university students, and people from many different backgrounds. You are sure to fit in with us!

"being a TM member is helping me at law school. I am able to speak lot more confidently and communicate effectively in comparison to many of my classmates" - Rupak Sarma, former member

Each meeting will give you the following opportunities: a) Members present 1-2 minute impromptu speeches about assigned topics b) Two or more members present prepared speeches based on projects of their choice, using learned skills such as speech organization, vocal variety, language, gestures and persuasion. c) Give and get constructive feedback. Every speaker is assigned an evaluator who points out speech strengths and offers suggestions for improvement.
