The style of yoga taught originates from the tradition of vinyasa and asthanga yoga (which is a breath centered flow style practice) but is infused with a more modern and evidenced base approach to movement and the body. The class focuses on breathing practices to help regulate the nervous system, mobility for joint health and longevity, strength, and flexibility.
We build upon the vinyasa system whilst developing a dynamic, creative, and complex flow. The student will learn to explore different transitions and have a little fun in this class whilst progressing in their understanding of there body. Building upon foundational poses and progressing to some more advanced asana. Mindfulness is the main theme and practice that is intertwined throughout. This class is not suitable for the complete beginner, at least one years practice is required.
