Carretera de Acceso al Castillo Santa Bárbara, Alacant, Spanje, Alicante
I have done several of these trips before and find that one day hiking and one day of rest is best.
There are numerous walks to do many of which i am familiar with and will be leading.
All bedding and towels are provided and accomodation is free but shared: a twin room and a twin and single in lounge area, my room for me, folks are welcome if that do not wish to share to book their own room at a hotel or b and b.
only charge is €50 and includes car hire road tolls and petrol
what i expect from you:- help with meals taken at flat, clearing up etc normal stuff staying at someones place and to be ready to go on hikes, waiting by car on time (folks are free to opt out of walks if feet are sore but just tell me so we don't wait until the last minute)
The Sights are very scenic as that's what i like, i'm not easily impressed.
With days off you will have keys and may go where you please around town with numerous museums, churches and two castles or to the beach a short walk away.
Wednesday 12th April arrive at Alicante Airport, i will be collecting car at airport so will collect you. rest of day for food shopping for packed lunches and a stroll about town.
Thursday 1030 we depart for Calpe rock which we will walk up and there are numerous viewing photograph points, after we go down to the beach for a swim and tapas
Friday free day to yourself i will lead a local walk if demand is there and social in the evening
