HESSPEA Plant-based Cooking Class & Social Group is for men & women, singles & couples who want to learn the history and celebrate the culinary food traditions that are inspired by the beautiful regions of Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and American South. The heart of the group is people coming together in the kitchen in this 3-4 hour hands on cooking class paired with lively conversation, and good friends. Each recipe is accompanied by the music that connects us to the food - - - Reggae & Reggaeton, African, Caribbean, Jazz, Zydeco, World Music & Afro-Cuban/Brazilian Beat. The cost is $25. 00 - $35.00. Class will meet at HESSPEA @ The Hood Kitchen in Costa Mesa. Class size is limited to 15 participants. PLEASE NOTE: (we may need to reschedule a class if at least 15 people have not signed up).
As the Owner @ HESSPEA Plant-Based Cooking & Hospitality, I am a Food Artisan and Plant-based Cooking Instructor who enjoys the art & craft of preparing and presenting food. The meals start with the freshest ingredients (organic when possible), are plant-based using seasonal fresh fruit & vegetables. Meals also incorporate whole grains, pasta, beans, rice, lentils, sweet potatoes & corn. **If you are vegan** please check the menu and class description before signing up for a class @ https://www.hesspea.com/classes
