Cotswold Natural Mindfulness walks are FREE for our 'unlimited card' holding members and walkers with a free voucher (see website for details Click here for website If you have walked with us before and would like to attend this walk as a 'pay-as-you-go' member there is a small charge of £5 payable on the day.

ALL YOU NEED TO WALK WITH US
Here are a few basic requirements to help you prepare for a Natural Mindfulness Walk.
Directions. A postcode for the next Natural Mindfulness walk is included in the listings for those of you using sat/nav or online maps to find us. We also can send further directions by email/text or Facebook Messenger nearer the date for the start of each walk on request when you sign up on our website.
Footwear. We walk in all weathers/conditions and may encounter wet grass, muddy and wet footpaths on occasions even in the summer months. It is advisable to bring walking boots or other sturdy footwear.
Clothing. The temperature and conditions during a 2-3 hour walk can change quickly and so appropriate layers of clothing are recommended based on local forecasts. Waterproofs if wet weather is forecast and head covering if it’s a sunny day or very cold. During winter months good socks and gloves are necessary as we do stop at regular intervals.
Fluid/Snacks. It is important to remain hydrated during the walk so bring some water, but remember we will be walking in nature and so there will be no public toilets along the route. On colder days guides/members bring hot water and herbal tea bags. Feel free to bring your favourite herbal tea bags and snacks if you wish.
Focus. A specific intention to connect with nature in a healing way. The walk/session is designed to help you move through the landscape in ways that cultivate presence, opening all the senses and actively communicating with the land.
Patience. Don’t Rush. The primary goal is not exercise or physical exertion. Walks are rarely more than a few miles and last up to 3 hours. It’s about enjoying the journey.
Mindfulness. Generously give your attention. I encourage “Natural Mindfulness” as we walk using an ever-changing and evolving series of activities. These activities are designed to slow us down and open the senses allowing the natural world to penetrate our consciousness more deeply.

Unlimited Walking Membership entitles you to walk with us on any and all of our monthly guided walks and benefit from regular Natural Mindfulness Practise. Dates for all our walks are available on our website.
PAY AS YOU GO MEMBERSHIP
If you are not able to walk with us on a regular basis, you are welcome to join any of our Natural Mindfulness walks on a pay as you go basis. PAY AS YOU GO Membership is currently £5 per walk payable on the day.

Practice. It’s not a one-off event. Developing a meaningful relationship with yourself and nature occurs over time. This is why we have created the “Cotswold Natural Mindfulness Community” enabling and encouraging members to returning again and again throughout the natural cycles of the seasons.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN SMALL ACTIVE GROUP WITH A WAITING LIST TO JOIN. IF YOU DONT THINK YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WALK WITH US PLEASE LET US KNOW SO WE CAN TRANSFER YOUR MEMBERSHIP TO SOMEONE ON THE WAITING LIST.
*Members who haven't attended a walk or communicated with the group for 3 months will automatically have their membership transferred to someone on the waiting list. Any member who has their membership transferred can re join at any time.
