Watch 'Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary'

We are hearing rumours of a 3D simulcast of this very special episode/mini-movie. Once we have more details we shall be able to set a date and venue.

More details on what to expect are available from http://www.doctorwho.tv

Brilliant. Script writing was incredibly good and the chemistry between the doctors really worked. Good humour too. Great to watch with the group and the atmosphere at Cineworld was fantastic

I was so excited for this and was not found wanting; maybe Moffat is a safe pair of hands! :-)

I think he is. He pulled off a master stroke. It's going to be interesting to see how the show develops over the next 50 years as each incarnation now doesn't have to carry the guilt of his mass genocide.

Incredible, but not fussed about the 3D. Great to enjoy it with hundreds of other Whovians and of course our group too.

I agree. The 3D didn't add anything for me but watching it with so many fans was something really special.

I'm in the queue but my screen is 9 and my queue is outside the ticket checking booth!

Wow. We aren't too far from the front. Not that it really makes any difference when you think about it *shrugs*

Calamity! Son has screen 4 and I have screen 9! Thankfully the staff say it'll be fine :-)

Meeting upstairs in cineworld at 1830 and waiting to get in early for good seats? Jelly babies at the ready.

Sounds good! Son and me will be on our way down from Broadway soon.

It looks like it might be - Gloucester might be worth a try for anyone who hasn't got a Cheltenham one yet - still showing as bookable

      October 25, 2013

    • Paul E.

Wow that was quick. Keep watching; they will move it to a bigger screen and show it as bookable again.

I might be reading the map wrong, but it looks like there is a screening in both Cheltenham and Gloucester to me - isn't that what the little tardis means?

      October 22, 2013

  • Terry M.

Why isn't this being done in Cheltenham? Not sure I can make Birmingham:-(
