What we're about

This group is perfect for both newbies to meditation, and those who have an existing meditation practice. For beginners, who would like to learn and practice various meditation techniques in a supportive group experience, this group is ideal. For those who are currently practicing, but would like a place to ask questions and find ways to support your practice, this meetup is for you too. Here, we can share our difficulties and concerns and also our insights and wisdom about our meditation practice.

We will start with an opening meditation. Then, using The Work of Byron Katie as a group, we will inquire into a stressful thought we believe about meditation. After this contemplation, we will use the remaining time to meditate together in the technique we are practicing and in silence. You are free to meditate in a formal cross legged posture, sit in a chair, lay down, or mix it up.

This could be the perfect way to satisfy your curiosity about meditation in an easy, accessible atmosphere, and/or provide a structure to deepen and enrich your existing practice. Hope to see you soon!
