What we're about

This is a free group for women over 50 looking for friends. Do you enjoy meeting new people and sharing life insights and laughs? We will seek to have fun together, host potlucks, eat out and attend local cultural events.

Riverfront Park Camp Chair Chat

1284 E River Front Rd

We will keep the correct six feet apart (at least), on the grass, in shade under trees at the park. Bring your own chair, a drink, a hat and maybe a drum or musical instrument!

Book Club Discussion: Born a Crime (Trevor Noah)

1267 S Tonopah Dr

We will be on a shady lawn in my backyard, at correct social distance! The book is by Trevor Noah, it is available as audio, e-book and hard book through the library. Also from Bookshop for $16.00: https://bookshop.org/books/born-a-crime-stories-from-a-south-african-childhood/9780399588198 (I like the Bookshop site because it shares proceeds with local independent bookstores) Please read some of the book before we meet! The book is non fiction, and was reviewed as funny and startling on race issues, If you have a book suggestion for our December meeting, please be ready to present on it at our meeting, thank you! Happy reading girlfriends! If you have not been to my house before, please follow the map and directions below - (Google Maps will mislead you with other nearby Tonapah streets, so sorry!!)
