Day Trip by Amtrack Train to Santa Barbara

Let's ride the train from AMTRACK Union Station LA to Santa Barbara and walk and shop the Santa Barbara Waterfront for 5+ hours. Get some food, some sunrays and more: The S.B. Amtrack station is walking distance to many of S.B. sites. Let's wear our coolest Bermuda shorts, Running Shorts or Beachwear.

S.B. Train Station is a National Historic LandMark

The famous Moreton Fig Tree is about a three minute walk
The station is about a 5 - 7 minute walk to the beach and shops

There is a 730AM LA train that arrives at 1030AM and a train that leaves SB at 630PM and arrive at LA around 930PM. Amtrack is known for running late. If you want to stay overnight there are a lot of choices but prices may be inflated due to the 4th of July weekend.
