Christopher Smith: Hitting the Ground Running with Angular.js

Angular.js is an extremely feature rich and powerful library. With all that potential and complexity, it can seem daunting to build a working understanding of how it should be used. Hitting the Ground Running aims to start with basic directly applicable examples and build from that foundation to a single page web app. Along the way, best practices are introduced to show how to scale the framework as the app grows.

About Christopher Smith:

Christopher Smith graduated from the University of Michigan, Dearborn with a BS in Software Engineering. He has extended drivers in C++, worked on image data aggregation in C#, and web front end dashboard implementation in JavaScript. Christopher is currently implementing single page web apps using Annular.js, D3.js, underscore.js, and jQuery. He also maintains a blog about programming, focusing on the thinking behind implementation and current patterns being used on the web.

Is the square class part of jsbin? Because I can't get the square in the ng-show example to show up outside of jsbin.

The square is set through styles in JS bin. Check the CSS tab for the specifics.

Great presentation last night. Chris covered a TON of ground in short order, but thankfully kept each jsbin example nice and tight - that really helped me follow along.

Looking forward to the slides being posted. The code samples are all linked from your site

but I'd like to get my hands on the 'gotchas' and 'more links' slides near the end of the talk.

    Thanks again, Chris.
