Are you freaking out about Swift? Haven't learned it yet? Jeff Kelley is ready to bring you up to speed in no time.

Jeff Kelley makes iOS apps for Detroit Labs, and wrote Learn Cocoa Touch for iOS. He’s a frequent guest star on podcasts, CocoaHeads within driving distance of Detroit, and iOS-focused conferences. He’s been working with iOS since its infancy in 2008, and managed the OS X environment at the University of Michigan before that.

Jeff knows his stuff and has obviously been enjoying paying with SWIFT since it came out. Presentation was well done in all respects.

I am sorry guys. I was unable to come to yesterday's meeting. Last minutes changes. I am sure this must have been an excellent intro to swift. But anyways, hope to see you all in the next meeting.

Great talk! Having never done any mobile dev or worked with any kind of C code - I was able to follow along for most of it!

Look up C function pointer syntax. It's a hoot.

Since we're nearing 70 people RSVP'd, it would be swell if folks could update their RSVP status as soon as possible if they are planning on not coming or planning not to bring a +1 so that we can plan accordingly. Thanks!

This sounds great - really looking forward to it! Hope there is overflow capacity, because 60+ folks will make things pretty cozy up there...
