Another super-fun meetup! I had to leave early but I still had time to play Cranium and Taboo. Thanks again, Lisa et. al, for a nice, chill afternoon.

Glad you're okay Len :) Hope to see you at the next meetup
Thanks for the help.
This was my first Meetup.com event and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you Lisa, and everyone else! Can't wait for the next one :)
Had a great time meeting new people, playing games and grabbing some food. I look forward to seeing you again.

this was an afternoon of pure fun. I learned 2 new games and i'm smitten with taboo. i got to talk with 6 to 8 people, all interesting, smart, friendly. i look forward to meeting more people and learning new games (hopefully working on my taboo skills)next time.
It turns out Shrinky Dinks are still on sale. Amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXiEqJfg-pM
Of course you can join us :)
I know I'm late to the group, but I hope I can join you guys today!
If I come, I can bring: Say Anything, Hedbanz (it's like the Who Am I? game from "Inglourious Basterds"), and San Juan. :)

hi lisa...i see you expanded the guest list from the original 15. Is that because (as I've experienced in all other meet-up gps), only 50 to 60% of the signed up responders attend? I'm looking forward to playing lotsa games! I'll bring bananagrams and big boggle. i only wish there was a "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" game. It's my favorite game show...and I was a winning contestant on an NBC game show, so I have cred. :)
And Lisa doesn't know how many games to bring, because 1/3 don't show. Maybe a deposit would help?

It is true that the atrium is a large space - however it's the logistics of organizing the group when there are more than 15 people that is the issue. We have found that when there are more than 15 (or so) people who are playing at once, it is less enjoyable for everyone.

The Sony atrium has plenty of room. I think the RSVP limit should be greater than 15. Like 25 would be good.
Haha. I want to play both of these. My handwriting is impressively bad - I can be the doctor. Try not to kill my patients.

The companion game to Pharma Say is called Pharma Write and players try to read and understand the doctor's writings and not kill the patient by dispensing the wrong drugs.

Now I can't stop. Furniture Chef, Shareplinks, Mem-brains, Pawdoodle, Spatula Pad, Sofa Versus Loveseat, Pharma Say. That's right kids, in Pharma Say, teams compete by reading the side effects of real prescription drugs, and trying to guess what they actual do!
Yes, you guessed correctly. Made them all up. That would be a fun contest, real board game or not.
I'm bringing Sequestion, Bandalinos, Confusionary, Colerotics, Funga and Mumbleshines.
I'll bring Apples to Apples.
Bring what ever you'd like to play :)
If anyone has ASAP, I LOVE that game! If you want me to bring BIgBoggle or Bananagrams, just let me know. Not insulted if you don't. Looking forward to making new friends in the sandbox. :)
