What we’re about
This group started in 2011. We host as a group, all suggesting ideas we would enjoy doing with others. It is a great way to meet people and commit to going out. If you are unsure, why not invite a friend to come with you. So far we have explored sculpture gardens, visited galleries, met on a Friday in a pub, eaten together, played badminton, gigged ...... And so much more.
Meetup charges group organisers and annual/bi-annual fee to use the website. We will ask group members from contributions to cover these costs in order to keep the groups running. The contribution paid will cover both the Central Sussex and East Grinstead & Crawley group.
Organisers and host are not employees of Meetup and make arrangements during their free time, please respect this.
You must have a clear photograph of yourself in your profile to belong to this group. Members without a photograph will be removed, as will inactive members and members that sign up for events and then do not show up.
You will receive an email notifying you of an event, if you wish to join in please RSVP 'yes' to let the host know that you will be there. If at a later date you are unable to attend you must amend your RSVP to 'no' so the host is aware and a space is made available to other group members.
It is not necessary to reply 'no' to every event that you are not going to do unless you are changing your RSVP from a 'Yes' to a 'No'
Please note that when you use the Contact envelope under the Organisers your message will be received by the organiser and any co-organisers within the East Grinstead & Crawley Group.
