CreateInTO Gathering v2.0

Come join us for CreateInTO gathering v2.0. This one is not to be missed. We've got special guests in town for FITC and our very own Andrew Tedford serving up delicious food as a preview of his upcoming food truck.

Location: Handlebar, 159 Augusta Ave.

Presenters:

7:15 Marcelo Coelho

Bio: http://fitc.ca/speaker/marcelo-coelho/?event=5484

8:00 Christopher Lewis and Marc Pelland, Creative Technologists

Christopher Lewis and Marc Pelland, founding members of The Creative Technologists of Toronto, deconstruct their Pi Fighter 2 project. They will describe the process used by The Creative Technologists of Toronto, as well as present a breakdown of the DIY components used to create the first ever Pi Day- themed, mind-controlled, Pie Gun-enabled, multiplayer video game.

9:00 Stacey Mulcahy - Stacey's in town for FITC and has graciously agreed to talk about stuff she's been up to. Talking about tech, future woman in tech. There will probably be rants and gifs.

FOOD! Mr Tedford will be serving up delicious samples of his low-carb & low-glycemic, yet completely delicious food. Menu will be posted soon.

Wow. Haven't been out to a FITO meeting in a long time. This meeting last night was fantastic. Thanks to Wickedly Sinful and Andrew Tedford for the great food! (If you didn't try it, you missed out!)

An excellent presentation by Mark and Chris from Creative Technologists

Now I'm excited to attend the next meetup.

I meant to add that I think the name change reflects the direction of the presentations. I didn't think it made much sense for me to say that I haven't been to a CITO meeting in a long time, since this is only the second one!
