Group Inspiration and Meditation
The meditation process used in this group is based on the breath, and other objects, such as: gazing at the sky, sound, and the desire to help other people awaken to oneness, equality, or unity. These 90 minute inspirational talks/meditations consist of sharing the purpose of meditation, concentration instruction, experiential application, and sharing personal experiences with others.Instruction in the basic philosophy, methods of concentration, and how to begin and maintain a regular routine, will be offered. How to sit, breathe, manage common obstacles, and how the mind works, will also be offered.
What to Bring:
1. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and dress for the weather.
2. A high, comfortable cushion, a large blanket, or bench. Some seating will be available for your use.
3. A notebook and pen.

About Your Facilitator Michael Cumpian has been meditating since he was eight years old. He began his personal studies of Hatha-yoga and concentration meditation in 1996. Michael currently serves our community, by offering massage therapy, and has done so since 2004.
