Storytelling Practice: Brothers Grim's Fairy Tales

When you arrive and find me, you will get a printout with a story to reproduce. This time it will be a Brothers Grim's fairy tale. Then you will have about 45 minutes to prepare your 5-10 minute performance. At 7:30, when the crowd pours into the theatre and frees the hall, we get together in a traditional circle around an artificial candle and enjoy a self-made storytelling session, which hopefully will be finished by the break.

This exercise enriches your verbal skills and boosts your public speaking and also the art of acting. It is also a unique opportunity to practice literary vocabulary which is often out of scope of everyday speech, but which is a must for quality creative writing.

You will find me on the ground floor sitting at one of the tables near the entrance with a volume of Brothers Grim's fairy tales and a pile of handouts.

The participation in the event is free.

In case you get lost, my telephone number is 07402841546.

Not at all first of all we try to make sure all our events are centrally located and compliant with the woefully inadequate access legislation.

So first off, we've been quiet if late trying to smooth over transition of management. 2nd of all , i and any other organiser is required to abide by Maximum effort to make sure any charter member interested has access or can be given the assistance they require or request.
One of the responsibilities we take seriously in our group now is participation and inclusion, prioritising those who might be turned off from conventional engagements for many legitimate reasons that many of us take for granted.
In writing our charter, we are sorely lacking on this front and are actively seeking input for advocacy groups. Thank you for asking this question and sorry for this not being addressed. :)

I am disabled so therefore I cannot go to all the meetings that you arrange for the club. I have to ask someone to bring g me & take me home, ideally in their car. So sorry does this make any difference to me applying to be a member?. Yours sincerely,
    J. L. Heath (Ms).
