What we're about

A group focused on providing writers with an environment to workshop, discuss, and practice their craft. We cover all kinds of genre and formats, from fantasy to non-fiction and screenplays to short stories. Overall, the goal is to create a safe space for writers of all levels of experience as well as preferences to be able to express themselves.

Writers’ Get Together!

Panera Bread

First thing on the agenda will be our weekly writing exercise. I will provide the prompt ahead of time through our event page, that way you can come into the meeting already thinking of what to write. Writing will take 15 minutes and then we’ll go around sharing what we wrote and seeing what can be worked on or improved. Thanks to what some members brought up in previous meetings as well as through my DMs, Miranda and I found a better way for us to workshop on any writing projects that members might need help with. Make sure you register to the Creative Writers of PSL Forum and message Miranda or I, that way we can create a folder for you under your designated writing genre. Link Below! http://creative-writers-psl.forumotion.com/ If you'd like a step-by-step on how to sign up and publish your writing for Workshopping, click on the link below! http://creative-writers-psl.forumotion.com/t10-how-to-sign-up-for-workshops We will limit each meeting to two projects. If you would like to have your project workshopped, comment on this event page. The first two to comment (in regards to workshopping) will have their project openly discussed during the meeting. Each project has a limit of 7 pages. If you have more than 7 pages written, we are more than happy to help, but you’ll have to do it in segments (i.e. 7 pages one meeting, the next 7 pages in the following meeting, and so on). Thank you for your patience while we try to figure out how to get this group where it needs to be. If you have any suggestions, let us know and we’ll take it into consideration.
