TOPIC: Should I be screened for cancer?
Critical thinking skills are vital for making important health decisions, which are often influenced by a compromised emotional state.

After a review of key terms and statistics, Dale will lead a discussion on this and other questions. Why is '5-year survival rate' such a bad cancer statistic? What is the difference between testing and screening? What thinking biases do doctors develop?

SPEAKER: Dale Stenseth is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He has 30 years experience working for local manufacturing companies in various roles. For the 10 year period before he retired, he consulted on large software implementations at various locations in the US and Japan. Dale has traveled extensively.
