What we're about

Hello and welcome to Off the HOOK! Crochet Club!

I'm starting this group to get together with other crochet lovers! My grandmother taught me the basics of crochet as a kid, but I'm just recently learning to read patterns and expanding my skills!

Let's break the stereotype! Crochet (hooking) isn't just for old ladies! We welcome hookers of all ages, men and women!

This group is for all skill levels and I would especially like to welcome those with children! We will meet to work on whatever projects we have going individually and also have group projects! Also there are many charities out there that request crochet items such as blankets, lapghans, chemo caps, prayer shawls etc that I would LOVE to participate in as a group!

Bring a project you are working on or choose one of the many patterns we have onhand! I do have some extra hooks and yarn and I will have literature available about Knots of Love and a few other organizations that collect crocheted hats, scarves, or blankets for various charities.
