• Impeachment: Should Trump be Impeached for Obstruction of Justice?

From nearly the moment that the 2016 election was decided, there have been calls to impeach the 45th president. Until the Mueller Report was released, however, Congress appeared to be reluctant to actually move forward with this complicated, fraught process. Now calls for impeachment are re-igniting, charging specifically that President Trump be impeached for obstruction of justice. At this meetup we’ll explore how realistic these calls for impeachment are. Please be sure to read the pre-reads for this meeting as they explain both the impeachment process, and the intricacies of Obstruction of Justice. Once we have discussed these elements, we’ll all have a chance to weigh in on this important topic.
