Building off the success of our April MeetUp, we're already planning for our May gathering. As before, Opportunity Hub (O-Hub) has CHEAP ($6) parking in the garage behind the building, so be sure to join us in Suite 206.
• 3 crowdfunders (either in the middle of their fundraising or planning to launch soon) present their campaigns so far and get critiques from the group
• Successful campaign manager will give a presentation on and answer our questions about how he/she surpassed their team's funding goal
• Wrap-up of lessons learned
• Voting on next session's focus
• Networking time and possible post-event drinks
Special Guest: Spencer Reeve, Marketing Executive for CoolMiniOrNot, Inc.
Spencer has been a vital member of the team that has successfully crowdfunded 10 different campaigns since May 2012, with their most recent one ending just last week.
His company, Cool Mini Or Not, focuses primarily on tabletop games, and they're really good at what they do. As in every single one of their campaigns has been wildly successful, raising anywhere from 266% and 9,020% of their initial funding goals.
All combined, their campaigns have raised over $7.5 million dollars, with their single-most successful campaign (so far) raising more than $2.2 million dollars alone.
