I don't know about you but I've always found crossword solving to be considerably improved by conferring with a pal or two to make it fun and come at the problem from a different angle. I've become rusty and lazy while left to my own devices and I'm just hoping that at least one of you will come and help me out so I can finally polish off one of Boatman's offerings! For those who haven't tried crosswords it's not as intimidating as it first seems. We'll teach you the 'rules' and you'll love it if you have any interest in things like codes, maths or the english language - or you just like the thought of sharing a little secret connection with the crossword setter once you see through her trickery. I also set crosswords so if anyone fancies taking it a little further then I'd love your input and dearly want you to go out and write them on your own. As it's April 1st I am reminded that the world needs more tricksters!
I'll be in Peter Kavanaghs on Egerton Street just outside Liverpool city centre (bus stop right outside) every Sunday from 16th April at 2pm, happily struggling with a crossword, hoping for a little help.
