The Beauty Way: Beginning the Shaman’s Journey

Series of Classes with the Munay-Ki Rites

Shamanism is the oldest form of Spirituality, calling on the forces of nature for assistance. A Shaman is an intermediary between the physical and non-physical world. They recognize that all objects are alive and retain information. They help themselves and others to regain lost power. In the past the Shaman was put on their path by traumatic events, like a lightning strike or near death experience. With more education and through initiation (Rites) you can choose to become a Shaman and work with energy.

10 weeks - Wednesdays, March 20 - May 22, 2013

7:00pm - 9:00pm - 115 Thrush Ave, Weatherford, TX 76086

Each class includes lecture, Journey, and one of the Munay-Ki Rites

$35.00 a class, payable by the class

Join Michael and Laura and learn the Beauty Way of the Peruvian Shaman. Learn how to "journey", and learn about power animals, drumming, how to work with energy, how to create a sacred safe space, and to listen for the hushed voice within nature that can help guide you safely through the world... and more.

After completing the 9 Munay-Ki Rites study of Peruvian Shamanism, Michael and Laura Anderson both energy workers, healers, readers and teachers, were called to Machu Picchu Peru. Their pilgrimage led them both to be initiated by Apu Putukusi, the Guardian Spirit of the area. Organizers of the Weatherford Shaman Center, they now hold and teach Peruvian Shaman classes sharing the Munay-Ki Rites. There are two things unique To the Munay-Ki and Peruvian Shamanism. It forms a continuous cultural thread extending from before the Incas to the present and is therefore unique in the Americas and it contains a pragmatic eco-spiritual healing message vital in our times of global environmental destruction. Not a religion or philosophy but a way of life that embodies ethical, moral, and spiritual guidelines, the healing message is simple: clear your heart, love deeply, harmonize your thoughts and feelings, align your efforts to do your best, and respect the natural environment.
