We are happy to announce our Culinary, Cultural, and Safari Tour to South Africa in November 2021. It will be an awesome tour, which will explore not only South African cuisine and wine, but also include some time in the Timbavati and Umbabat Private Nature Reserves. These reserves form part of the Associated Private Nature Reserves region, which borders on Kruger National Park. They share fence-free borders with Kruger National Park, which allows animal species to move freely between these expansive parks. Guests can therefore look forward to exceptional game viewing moments. We will also visit Boulders Penguin Colony in Simon’s Town, home to a unique and endangered land-based colony of African Penguins. This colony is one of only a few in the world, and the site has become famous and a popular international tourist destination.

Some folks who often travel with us and want to come on this tour inquired about the possibility of going to Botswana after the tour to South Africa finishes, so we prepared this itinerary for them and for anyone else going to South Africa who want this extension as well.

Prices per person in Double room $6,875. Single supplement $1,250.

​Deposit: Our tour operator requires a non-refundable deposit (which includes the internal flights) upon booking. Once the Online Signup Form has been received, you will be emailed a Reservation Form and Limited Liability and Waiver Form to fill out and return with your Deposit within seven (7) business days to secure your place on the tour.

Deposit for South Africa in Double Occupancy - $2,100 per person
Deposit for South Africa with Single Supplement - $2,350 per person

Botswana / Zimbabwe Extension -
Prices per person in Double room $3,295. Single supplement $350.

​Deposit: This tour is an extension to the 2020 Culinary Tour to South Africa and is not available as a separate tour. A non-refundable deposit of $1000 per person (includes full payment of internal flights) is required upon booking and should be included in the deposit for the South Africa tour.

​Final Payment: Due 70 days prior to departure.

There is an Online Signup Form on the website for you to reserve your spot on the South African tour, and also the tour extension to Botswana if so desired. Once we receive your Online Signup Form, you will be emailed a Reservation Form and a standard Limited Liability Waiver Form to be filled out and returned with your deposit.
