What we're about
Cultivating a Heart of Compassion and Wisdom with Lama Tashi
Have you ever wondered how to awaken your genuinely wise and compassionate heart?
Many people today are seeking ways to relate to their feelings of woundedness at the same time wanting to help relieve the suffering they see and feel in the world. It can be more than we can bear and we close down or hold back when we really want to open, connect and give. How do we begin? We can start where we are.
Working with Tibetan meditations we will explore ways to cultivate unconditional compassion for ourselves and others. We will begin with the practice of Chenresig and the energy of seeing deeply with caring, while generating the wish that all beings be free from difficulty and suffering. Later we will consider Green Tara, and her focus on wisdom and compassion in action, where she and her fearless loving activity removes obstacles, heals and protects us from negative mind states.
Join with others to learn and practice together.
No experience is necessary. Those with a wish to reduce suffering and be of service are welcome.
