What we're about

If you love food, people and culture this is the perfect group for you. This started when I gave a good friend a Christmas gift that included a jar with a sticky notes of all 170 countries in it and told him to pick a different country every month and we would either cook the food OR pick a local restaurant that could provide us with an authentic experience. We've enjoyed exploring the city and now want to share this experience with others because there's nothing more social than different people learning about international culture over food and drinks.

Inspired by trips through Latin America, Chef/Owner Hector Ruiz opened Cafe Ena in May 2007. Since then the restaurant has become a go to destination for local people as well as visitor's searching for cuisine that is upscale, yet affordable. Chef Ruiz incorporates his knowledge of Latin spices and infuses them with a French style technique he studied in Paris, France at the well known Michelin three-star restaurant Lucas Carton of Chef Alain Senderens. The end result is not only quality dishes throughout the menu, but an experience for the customer that takes them into unknown flavors pleasing to a multitude of palettes.
