Please rank the proposed sessions for the 2012 Winter Gathering, 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, etc.

There are 6 possible topics being offered. You will only be able to attend 2. This question is to evaluate the group's relative interests in the topics. The planning for each topic is not complete as far as if sessions will be presentations and or discussions.

chose a domain name for Cumberland Green Bioregional Barter website

Peter Speltz is developing a website to facilitate barter among Cumberland Greens and friends. There is a list of possible domain names that have been checked out and are available. There has been discussion on the mailing list about which name is best. Some like acronyms. Some were concerned about the word "Green" being mistaken as "Green washing". (In this case Green is for the Green River in KY which is one of the boundaries of the watershed defining this bioregion). This website is likely to develop and have more than barter on it. Peter says, "The new site will have a place to put the people who helped you out, exchanged with, user feedback, etc. Also it will have a calendar listing the events. We could have a feedback system like ebay where you could rate your exchange. "Nice person, tries hard, needs some more experience." Once the site is up and we have tried it and posted things and work parties we can discuss where we want to go with it from there" Maybe blogs too.

How many hours a month on avg. might you perform work for others in a barter system?

This question was brought up by Peter Speltz , the computer tech volunteer for establishing a website for facilitating the Cumberland Green barter system or systems This question is to check for time available to invest in a barter system This question is for the one on one or trade bank style of barter system. (Not the proposed monthly work party group labor exchanges.) Assuming you could find plenty of agreeable barter service exchanges, how many hours a month do you guess on average you would be performing service (in order to receive)? (This excludes barter research, setup and traveling time and excludes monthly work party times) Please guess on of the following choices. Thanks, Cindy MoonRose
