Experience London's most unique Friday night out. Come and enjoy Natural History Museum exhibitions in the evening, meet new people, have a drink.

This month's exhibition is Britain one million years of human history.

Experience the dramatic story of ancient Britain, its changing landscapes and the people who lived here. This major exhibition showcases more than 200 specimens, objects and life-size models.

What's in the exhibition

Explore more than 200 specimens and objects, including lifelike models of a Neanderthal and a Homo sapiens, specially commissioned for the exhibition.

As you meet the earliest occupants of what we now call Britain, a landscape emerges of a lost world where mammoths, elephants and rhinos roamed freely. It's hard to believe that around 125,000 years ago, lions lived in Trafalgar Square and hippos swam in the Thames.

After attending the exhibition you will enjoy a glass of wine at the Fossils Bar (formerly red bar) - just outside of the exhibition. As everyone will want to see the exhibits at a different pace, feel free to do your own thing and just head to the bar afterwards, Peter will be waiting for you there.

Meeting point: You will be meeting at the entrance to NHM, just by the big dinosaur in the main hall (the dinosaur's head to be specific) at 7pm exactly. Peter will be wearing a tshirt with the group's logo. He will wait 15 minutes for any late comers and at 7:15pm you will move on to the exhibition.

If you are any later than that I'm afraid you will not be able to get in as you will not be able to get your tickets. No refunds will be offered if you miss it. Please make sure you check TFL for any planned works or last minute changes and please aim to arrive 30 minutes early to account for any issues with finding us/parking/etc, as it would not be fair to keep the entire group waiting.

Contact: Peter's number is[masked]. It will only be available from 7pm. Please bear in mind that when everyone starts arriving he will be picking up a lot of calls and meeting, greeting and introducing everyone so it may be difficult to get through to him. He will do his best to respond to all the text messages as well, but there may be a delay.

Food and drink

Bars open from 18.00 until 22.00

They are offering a choice of drinks, snacks and food menus.

Please note that drinks and food cannot be taken into exhibitions and the Dinosaur Gallery

Our previous late nights at the museum were fantastic, we have all enjoyed them thoroughly. If you would like to check the ratings or have a look through the photos we took, please follow the links: .

Amazing archaeological discoveries

Incredible finds from sites around Britain such as Kent's Cavern in Devon, Pontneywdd in North Wales and Happisburgh in Norfolk, reveal what life was like in ancient Britain

See a skull from the earliest known Neanderthal in Britain, the oldest wooden spear in the world, the largest hand axe in Europe and other remarkable objects from our past.

The human story today

In the last section of the exhibition, find out what six well-known figures, including Bill Bailey and Alice Roberts, discovered about their own genetic ancestry by having their DNA analysed.

See how we all fit into a wider human family tree, which includes our extinct Neanderthal cousins and how we got here out of Africa.

And the dinosaurs at night... AWESOME! :)

Please note that in order to keep the costs low, the trips are set up in such a way that they can be fully managed online. The descriptions are very detailed and try to answer all your questions and you will find additional information in pages section of the website. Please only email us if your query is not answered in the event's description andplease only call us in case of emergency. I'm afraid we will not be able to get back to you if your query is answered above as with over 60 events coming almost 4,000 members and current volume of emails, this would require hiring admin support and setting up a call centre, which as you can imagine would increase the costs of the events considerably. Please help us provide excellent trips at fantastic value for you and keep your emails to the minimum. Please make sure you read the event's description before contacting us.
