What we're about

Working remotely can be lonely. The goal of this meetup is to work together with other DC area women who work from home. This includes entrepreneurs, small business owners, freelancers, creatives, remote workers, digital nomads, etc!

Use this group to make a new friend, find a co-working bud, or just drop in one time if you're feeling like getting out of the house.

Stay in the loop! Sign up to receive weekly updates: http://bit.ly/DCLadiesNewsletter ;

We are always looking for location scouts, event hosts, and organizers / welcome committees. Duties here:

We have a slack group where we share resources/job opps with each other and plan extra meets not listed on meetup. You are also able to reach out to ladies work remote members in other chapters. If you'd like to join the slack, attend one of our events and ask to be added via an email invite. In person invite because we prefer our active members gain access to free resources and support.

Tell us your preferred meetup events on the survey here:

Please read and follow the rules of our community:

Adams Morgan CoWorking at Pitango Gelato & Cafe

Pitango Gelato & Cafe

Pitango Gelato & Cafe 1841 Columbia Rd NW, Washington, DC 20009 We had a great time at Pitango last time, and Sara offered to host again! We're going to aim for the large, long table inside. If it gets too crowded, we might split up into smaller groups. It's not a bad idea to bring an extension cord to share if you have one. See you then! == Loving DC LWR and want to keep it going? We need your help hosting events. NW Coworking at Cleveland Park Library

Cleveland Park Library

Hi Ladies, Come check out the newest, spiffiest library in the DC library system. It is a convenient 2-minute walk from Cleveland Park Metro Station. DC Lady Sara will be hosting today, so look for her. We will be in the conference room on the second floor. Official room time is 11am-2pm, but since nobody else has booked the room, we may be able to enter early and we will probably stay late. Convenient power outlets at the table. There is also an outdoor balcony if you arrive outside of our conference room hours. Food and drink are allowed in the library, just be prepared to pack any organic waste away when you leave. There are also a LOT of restaurants near the metro station, put in a comment if you're interesting in grabbing an early dinner after working. == Want to host a meetup in your own neighborhood? Let me know where and when, and we can set it up. More details: https://www.meetup.com/D-C-Ladies-Work-Remote/pages/27037480/Want_more_coworking_events_Host_one%21/

Coworking at Panera Dupont

Panera Bread

Panera Bread 1350 Connecticut Ave NW · Washington, DC It's been a while since we've worked from Panera! This location is right next to the Dupont metro, accessible by the red line. When you walk in, go straight down the stairs and into the basement. The area is roomy, with free wifi and outlets - though an extension might be a good idea depending on where we end up sitting. Shani will be hosting, so keep an eye out for her! Fun fact: You can also order online directly from the table, so don't worry about waiting in line upstairs. You can head right down! ======== Loving DC LWR and want to keep it going? We need your help hosting events.
