In this hands-on workshop, students will be creating an ERC-20 and ERC-721 token from start to finish. We’ll start with an overview of the token standards, and then we’ll be coding, deploying, and trading tokens with each other. We will cover some of the extensions available for both token contracts, and dig deeper into a new token standards. We’ll be using Truffle, Remix, and MetaMask. Please make sure to download and setup the Metamask wallet prior to the class. If you need assistance with setting this up, reach out to us and we can help!

This workshop is intended for people with a programming background as we will be coding. Smart contract development experience is not required, but helpful.

Solidity is a programming language used to write smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. These smart contracts are executed on the Ethereum Virtual Machine to create decentralized, immutable applications.
